What is Adaferin Gel (ADAPALENE)?
Third-generation topical retinoid for acne vulgaris. Better tolerated than tretinoin with similar efficacy. Available OTC in USA (Differin) but prescription-only elsewhere.
How it Works
Selective RAR-β/γ receptor agonist → normalizes follicular epithelial cell differentiation → prevents comedone formation. Anti-inflammatory properties.
