What is Zopisign 10mg (1X14) (ZOPICLONE)?
Non-benzodiazepine hypnotic (Z-drug) for short-term insomnia — difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. Short-term use only (maximum 4 weeks).
How it Works
Binds GABA-A receptors at the benzodiazepine site — enhances chloride channel opening and reduces neuronal excitability. Similar to benzodiazepines in mechanism.

Common Side Effects
Bitter/metallic taste (very common and characteristic), headache, somnolence, dizziness, dry mouth, rebound insomnia on stopping.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ Schedule IV. Tolerance and dependence develop quickly — maximum 4 weeks. Complex sleep behaviors (sleep driving) — rare but serious. Avoid alcohol (dangerous CNS depression). Taper to discontinue.
