What is Lanolimus 0.5mg (EVEROLIMUS)?
mTOR inhibitor for advanced renal cell carcinoma, neuroendocrine tumors, breast cancer (with exemestane), tuberous sclerosis complex, and organ transplant rejection.
How it Works
Binds FKBP12, inhibiting mTORC1 — reduces tumor cell proliferation, survival, and angiogenesis. Same target as sirolimus but different pharmacokinetic profile.

Common Side Effects
Stomatitis (mouth sores — very common), pneumonitis, fatigue, infection, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, myelosuppression, impaired wound healing.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ Pneumonitis — monitor respiratory symptoms (can be asymptomatic early). Stomatitis management with specific rinses (not chlorhexidine). Hold before surgery. Avoid live vaccines. CYP3A4/P-gp substrate.
