Common Side Effects
Hepatotoxicity (mandatory LFT monitoring), cataracts, thromboembolic events, reticulin fibrosis with long-term use, QT prolongation.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ LFT monitoring mandatory every 2 weeks during titration, then monthly. Thrombosis risk — use minimum effective dose. Avoid antacids within 4 hours (reduces absorption dramatically). Cataract monitoring.
