What is Tretin (MINOXIDIL)?
Topical vasodilator for androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern hair loss). One of only two FDA-approved treatments for hair loss. Also used off-label for beard growth.
How it Works
Potassium channel opener → vasodilation in scalp blood vessels → increased blood flow and nutrient delivery to hair follicles → prolongs anagen (growth) phase and reverses follicle miniaturization.
