What is Tretiheal (TRETINOIN)?
Topical retinoid (vitamin A derivative) for acne vulgaris, photoaging, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and skin texture improvement. The gold standard prescription retinoid.
How it Works
Binds retinoic acid receptors → accelerates keratinocyte turnover → unclogs pores, reduces comedone formation, stimulates collagen synthesis, and promotes cellular renewal.

Common Side Effects
Retinoid dermatitis (dryness, peeling, redness, stinging) especially first 4-6 weeks — the ‘purge’. Photosensitivity.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ Use SPF daily — significantly increases UV sensitivity. Start every other night then build up. Absolutely contraindicated in pregnancy (Category X). Avoid eye/lip area.
