What is Oflomac 100mg (OFLOXACIN)?
Fluoroquinolone antibiotic for UTIs, respiratory infections, skin infections, sexually transmitted infections (chlamydia, gonorrhea), and conjunctivitis.
How it Works
Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV → prevents DNA replication and transcription → bactericidal activity.

⚠️ Tendon rupture risk (Achilles) — stop at first sign of tendon pain. Peripheral neuropathy. QT prolongation. Avoid in children/adolescents. CNS effects (seizures, confusion) in susceptible patients.
