What is Minoxihead 10mg (MINOXIDIL)?
Oral low-dose (1.25–5mg) for androgenetic alopecia (hair loss) in men and women — significantly more effective than topical. At higher doses (10–40mg) treats severe hypertension.
How it Works
Potassium channel opener causing vasodilation and increased hair follicle blood flow. Prolongs anagen (growth) phase. Systemic absorption provides more complete scalp coverage than topical.

Common Side Effects
Hypertrichosis (unwanted body/facial hair — very common at any dose), fluid retention, dizziness on standing, tachycardia. Hair regrowth takes 3–6 months minimum.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ Monitor blood pressure when starting. Caution in cardiac disease or renal impairment. Avoid in pregnancy. Fluid retention can worsen heart failure. Stop if chest pain or significant swelling occurs.
