What is Liofen 25mg (BACLOFEN)?
GABA-B agonist muscle relaxant for spasticity from multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, stroke, and cerebral palsy. Off-label for alcohol use disorder, hiccups, and GERD.
How it Works
Binds GABA-B receptors presynaptically reducing excitatory neurotransmitter release and postsynaptically hyperpolarizing neurons — reduces muscle hyperexcitability and spasm.
