Selective inhibitor of the If current in sinoatrial node — reduces heart rate without affecting blood pressure, myocardial contractility, or AV conduction.

Common Side Effects
Phosphenes/luminous phenomena (visual brightening — common, harmless, reversible), bradycardia, atrial fibrillation, headache, dizziness.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ Contraindicated in AF (no HR-reducing benefit via SA node). Avoid strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (greatly increase exposure). Do not use with HR under 60bpm. Increased AF risk.
