How it Works
Blocks androgen receptor (AR) signaling at multiple steps: prevents androgen binding, AR nuclear translocation, and AR-DNA interaction. More potent than first-generation anti-androgens.

Common Side Effects
Fatigue (most common), hot flushes, hypertension, seizures (<1% risk), fall/fractures, cognitive effects, QT prolongation.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ Seizure risk — avoid in patients with history of seizures. Falls and fractures — bone protection. CYP3A4 and CYP2C8 inducer — reduces levels of many medications. Embryofetal toxicity.
