What is Dasanat 20mg (DASATINIB)?
Second-generation BCR-ABL/SRC kinase inhibitor for CML resistant to imatinib and Ph+ ALL. Also studied as senolytic agent in longevity medicine to clear senescent (zombie) cells.
How it Works
50x more potent than imatinib for BCR-ABL. Also inhibits SRC family kinases. As senolytic: promotes apoptosis of senescent cells in combination with quercetin.

Common Side Effects
Pleural effusion (fluid around lungs — unique to dasatinib), myelosuppression, QT prolongation, fluid retention, diarrhea, rash, hepatotoxicity.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ Pleural effusion monitoring — may require dose interruption. QT monitoring. CYP3A4 interactions. Avoid antacids within 2 hours. Embryofetal toxicity.
