What is Antiemo-Zen 24mg (1X4) (ONDANSETRON)?
5-HT3 receptor antagonist antiemetic for chemotherapy-induced nausea/vomiting (CINV), post-operative nausea/vomiting (PONV), radiation-induced nausea, and pregnancy morning sickness.
How it Works
Selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist — blocks serotonin in vagal afferents and the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ), preventing nausea signals from reaching the vomiting center.

Common Side Effects
Headache (most common), constipation, QT prolongation (especially IV high doses), transient liver enzyme elevation.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ QT prolongation — avoid other QT-prolonging drugs, hypokalemia, hypomagnesemia, congenital QT syndrome. Not recommended in first trimester pregnancy by some guidelines.
