What is Carisoprodol 500mg (CARISOPRODOL)?
Centrally-acting muscle relaxant for acute musculoskeletal pain and discomfort. Short-term use only (2–3 weeks maximum). Often combined with NSAIDs or opioids for spasm-related pain.
How it Works
Prodrug metabolized to meprobamate (GABA-A receptor modulation). CNS-mediated muscle relaxation. Abuse liability relates primarily to the meprobamate metabolite.
