Common Side Effects
Nausea, dizziness, somnolence, constipation, vomiting, headache, dry mouth. Less constipation and nausea than oxycodone at equivalent analgesia.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ Addiction, abuse, and misuse risk. Do NOT use with MAOIs (serotonin syndrome). Respiratory depression — avoid with other CNS depressants. Seizure risk. Taper to discontinue. Keep secured away from children.
