What is Oseltaflu 30mg (OSELTAMIVIR)?
Neuraminidase inhibitor for treatment and prevention of influenza A and B. Most effective within 48 hours of symptom onset. Used in post-exposure prophylaxis and immunocompromised patients.
How it Works
Inhibits influenza neuraminidase — prevents viral release from infected cells and reduces spread. Reduces severity and duration by approximately 1–2 days when started early.

Common Side Effects
Nausea and vomiting — take with food. Headache. Rare neuropsychiatric events especially in children.
Safety Warnings
⚠️ Reduced dose in renal impairment. Monitor neuropsychiatric symptoms especially in pediatric patients. Live attenuated influenza vaccine may be less effective within 2 weeks of oseltamivir.
